Do brass bracelets tarnish or change color?
Brass can naturally oxidize over time, especially when exposed to moisture, sweat, cosmetics, air, and repeated skin contact. Plating and protective coating can reduce direct exposure of the brass surface, but color retention still depends on the surface preparation, plating system, coating thickness, wear conditions, and care.
How does plating thickness affect a brass bracelet?
Plating thickness is measured in microns (μm) and describes how much decorative metal is deposited on the brass surface. A thicker specification uses more material and generally increases the finishing cost and wear margin.
Bracelet edges, cuff openings, hinges, clasps, and other high-contact areas may require additional wear evaluation before the final specification is confirmed.
Can I add a custom logo and private-label packaging?

A gold-plated brass bracelet uses brass as the base material, with a decorative gold layer applied to its surface. Gold vermeil uses sterling silver as the base metal and may also be subject to market-specific requirements for gold purity and plating thickness.
Brass bracelet products should therefore be described as gold-plated brass or thick gold-plated brass according to the actual specification.
