Process & Timeline

1. Payment confirmation & required documents

Note: Third-party payments are not accepted due to international trade compliance and AML requirements.

  • Please send the bank slip or payment screenshot by email only to our sales team.

  • We will confirm receipt by email within 1–2 business days.

  • Required details: payer name, amount, date, beneficiary, and bank reference.

Delivery Terms & Incoterms ( DDP)

2. DDP orders: why is an import tax ID mandatory?

DDP is only available when you provide a valid import tax ID. We pay the duty and tax, but the consignee in the destination country must be the Importer of Record for the entry. Customs will not release the shipment without a valid importer number, and in most markets a China / Hong Kong company cannot act as importer of record in your country. Without the tax ID we cannot book DDP — the order ships on DAP or DPU instead, or waits until the number is supplied.

Please send us, at order confirmation:

  • Legal company name exactly as registered
  • Registered address and consignee contact
  • Import tax ID / importer number for the destination country
  • Resale or VAT-exemption certificate, if you want the goods cleared exempt

Deadline: no later than 7 days before the shipment booking date. For the EU, UK, Canada and Japan we need it before production is scheduled, because the carrier booking cannot be created without it.

The tax ID must belong to the same entity that places and pays for the order — this follows our third-party payment policy above.

Destination Import ID we need Note
United States
EIN (Federal Tax ID) — or SSN for individuals
Used on the CBP entry. A missing EIN can force a formal entry and add 3–5 days.
European Union
EORI number + VAT number
EORI for customs clearance, VAT number for the import VAT entry. Selling via a marketplace? Send the marketplace IOSS / deemed-importer VAT number instead.
United Kingdom
GB EORI + GB VAT number
Both are required after Brexit.
Canada
Business Number (BN) with import account
RM number is required at the border.
Australia
ABN
Needed for GST treatment on imports.
Japan
JCT registration number or importer code
Required for the import declaration.
Mexico / Brazil
RFC / CNPJ
Local importer of record is mandatory.
Other markets
Local importer of record number
Tell us the destination and we will confirm exactly which number is required.

Without a valid tax ID the shipment cannot be cleared for DDP and is stopped at destination customs. In that case:

  • We will ask you to correct the tax ID or consignee details immediately. Customs and airline / steamship amendments usually take 2–5 business days and are billed at cost.
  • If a correction is not possible in time, we can switch the shipment to DAP or DPU — you clear customs and pay duty / tax on arrival. This requires your written confirmation before arrival.
  • All costs caused by a missing, invalid or mismatched tax ID are borne by the buyer: storage, demurrage, re-consignment, abandonment, return freight, customs fines and any duty / tax we have already advanced.
  • If the parcel is returned to us, the original freight and duties are non-refundable; the balance is handled under our Return & Refund policy.

The consignee name, delivery address, invoice, packing list and transport document must match your tax registration exactly. Customs in the EU, UK, US and Canada compare these fields automatically; a mismatch (for example a trading name instead of the registered legal name, or a warehouse address instead of the registered address) is one of the most common causes of a held shipment.

If you need delivery to a warehouse or a 3PL, give us the importer’s registered name and tax ID plus the delivery address separately — both will appear on the documents.

Your tax ID is used only for the customs declaration, the carrier booking and the import entry. It is shared only with the customs broker and carrier handling your shipment, stored in our order system with restricted access, and kept only as long as tax and customs regulations require. It is never used for marketing and never sold.
